Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Expand your expertise in medical imaging within a dynamic radiology department, contributing vital diagnostic skills as a CT/PET Technologist. This contract opportunity supports a fast-paced clinical setting with access to advanced imaging equipment and a collaborative healthcare team.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling with 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts Day, evening, weekend, or overnight coverage 7 on, 7 off scheduling pattern
Qualifications & Experience:
Proficiency in CT and PET imaging procedures Ability to perform a variety of radiology exams, including x-rays, Fluoro, portable, and operating room studies Proven track record maintaining patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images Clear communication skills for effective interactions with patients, providers, and fellow staff Current ARRT certification (CT), state licensure as required Prior experience in a hospital or fast-paced imaging environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Operate advanced imaging systems to assist in accurate patient diagnosis and care planning Conduct general radiologic exams as well as specialized CT, PET, and Fluoroscopy studies Ensure the correct interpretation of provider orders and patient identification protocols Maintain superior infection control and equipment cleanliness at all times Collaborate with physicians and technologists to support optimal patient outcomes Respond quickly and professionally to urgent imaging requests, including portable and OR imaging
