1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of IR experience. Details Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital-based radiology department Patient population includes adolescents and adults 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:30 AM 40 hours per week On-call responsibilities assigned based on experience and facility needs, which may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Siemens equipment experience required Epic EMR used for charting Position requires on-site presence; no teleworking available Requirements Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification before the start date Active
ARRT R.T.
(R) registration required; ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) must be obtained within 18 months of start date Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience No pending license accepted; active license required if applicable Experience with sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred Associate's degree preferred Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology standards across IR and assigned OR areas Requires competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology, including Siemens systems Must maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths Practices and enforces safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self Fosters teamwork through effective communication COVID vaccination and booster required Travelers who have previously been on assignment at this facility may stay up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30-60 day break is required before beginning a new assignment — contact your recruiter for details First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1 year of specialty experience is required
