Job Description
As an Advanced Radiologic Technologist at Mercy, you will perform high quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition. Working in a fast paced clinical setting with rotating shifts, you'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards, documenting in EMR systems, and assisting in emergency and urgent imaging needs while upholding Mercy's compassionate care values. Responsibilities Perform advanced diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and protocols Position and prepare patients while ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment and related systems Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies Accurately document procedures and findings in EMR and imaging systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnoses Assist with contrast procedures and emergency or urgent imaging needs Monitor image quality and follow quality control procedures Required Skills Diagnostic radiology Patient positioning Radiation safety Operation of radiologic equipment
