Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays and CT scans, according to established protocols.

Prepares all materials and equipment appropriate for procedures. Selects and operates equipment as directed.

Selects proper technical factors on individuals patient basis.

Evaluate images for quality and completeness, ensuring they meet diagnostic criteria.

Practice sterile techniques, preventing cross-contamination.

Plans work detail to meet daily work schedule consistently within scheduled shift.

Demonstrates broad knowledge of assigned areas.

The degree to which the technologist determines standard of care follows federal, state, local, and other accrediting agencies.

Degree to which follows instructions reliably, utilize supplies and equipment in cost efficient manner.

Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs, and placing orders.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Provide patient care with compassion and professionalism.
Position Requirements:
ARRT registered and qualified in CT; 1+ additional Board Certification or 3+ qualifications.

Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or preapproved provider.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of a radiologist performs radiographic procedures at technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
