Career Interest:
The CT Technologist is responsible for producing images that produce cross sectional imaging for the purpose of diagnosing disease processes. Procedures can be performed at various health system locations. CT Technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Acts as a liaison for communication between other departments and assists when called upon for special projects that have been approved by the Radiology Department leadership team.- Assists with developing continuing education strategies with the CT Department which will assist the long term enrichment of the staff.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 180 Days Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT)
- State Board of Healing Arts for Kansas locations only within 90 Days Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Licensure and Certification Radiography (R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography
- ARRT required to apply for Computed Tomography (CT)
- ARRT.
