In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare providers to support efficient clinical operations and deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities Diagnostic Imaging :

Perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently following standard positioning guidelines; identify and mitigate image artifacts.

Radiation Safety :

Apply ALARA guidelines and participate in Image Gently and Image Wisely protocols to minimize exposure.

Patient Care :

Prepare patients, verify orders, confirm identity using two identifiers, explain procedures, and adapt care to patient demographics.

Clinical Operations :

Insert IV catheters for contrast injections during CT or MRI procedures; scan and verify documentation into PACS for radiologist interpretation.

Equipment & Supplies :

Maintain and sanitize imaging equipment per infection control standards; keep supplies organized and stocked.

Team Collaboration :

Communicate effectively across clinical teams; maintain regular, reliable attendance and adhere to all hospital policies. Qualifications 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist required ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required Core Skills & Knowledge Radiologic imaging techniques, positioning, PACS, RIS, and EHR systems Radiation safety (ALARA) and infection control protocols Strong interpersonal communication and patient care skills Detail-oriented with ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
