The technologist is responsible for performing a variety of procedures requiring independent judgement and knowledgeable performance. The technologist will operate equipment safely producing quality images for diagnostic purposes and maintain equipment and supplies. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and fellow staff. > Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Skills and Abilities Essential Technical/Motor Skills- Inputting data, calibrating equipment, answering telephone, speaking clearly, manipulating small items, fine motor skills, knowledge of body mechanics and CPR.
