Ocean Springs, MS Position Summary We are seeking a licensed X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is responsible for operating radiologic equipment, ensuring radiation safety, positioning patients, and completing related documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Essential Duties Prepare and position patients for diagnostic X-ray examinations. Operate digital radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Adjust exposure settings according to examination specifications. Follow established radiology protocols and radiation safety standards. Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures. Develop and process radiographic images as needed. Enter imaging orders and complete documentation in the EMR. Maintain procedure logs and complete required clerical tasks. Report equipment issues to the Lead Radiologic Technologist. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technology program. Current Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license required. Current ARRT certification required. Minimum of two (2) years of radiology experience preferred. Skills Excellent patient care and customer service skills. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and data entry. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift. Frequent walking, bending, and stooping. Ability to move radiology equipment and assist with patient transfers as needed. #2606MS
