Job Overview
LICENSED RT
(R) is required. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients in the Otolaryngology setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient health outcomes while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. All roles are compensated positions, emphasizing the importance of your skills and commitment. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to ensure optimal image quality Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all radiation safety protocols and standards Capture clear, accurate images for diagnostic purposes. Assist with patient intake procedures by recording vital signs, medical history, and relevant information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support medical teams by providing basic life support (BLS) when necessary during emergencies or critical situations Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, including ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use at all times Qualifications
LICENSED RT
(R) is required Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately position patients and interpret imaging needs Ability to support patient service initiatives by demonstrating compassion and professionalism during intake, vital signs assessment, and patient care activities Competence in using EHR systems for documentation, order entry, and coding including ICD codes for diagnoses Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required by healthcare standards Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics or those requiring specialized care.
