Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic imaging opportunity is available for professionals skilled in CT and X-ray technology. This contract role offers a unique 7 on, 7 off schedule working overnight from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., ideal for those who prefer consolidated workweeks and extended time off.
Qualifications and Certifications:
Current ARRT(R) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Valid MS State Radiologic Technologist license required ARRT(CT) certification preferred, but not mandatory Previous experience operating Canon and GE imaging equipment preferred Completion of required fingerprinting prior to starting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations, following established protocols Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging results and patient safety Operate Canon and GE imaging systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care Accurately document and maintain records of procedures and patient information in compliance with facility standards Practice infection control and radiation safety measures consistently Provide compassionate support, clear communication, and care to all patients Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies This position requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
