JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology. 2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health. 3. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty. 4. Displays a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics 5. BLS. JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, performs radiographic procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and patients' families, consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities. The employee will demonstrate the ability to: manage time; maintain a safe and clean environment; practice confidentiality; treats all persons with respect and professional courtesy; accept change; support the mission and vision of Big Horn Hospital Association (BHHA); accept and provide constructive feedback; be a team player; and adhere to the infection control, fire and safety, disaster and hazardous waste policies. The employee must also demonstrate the competencies for the position and adhere to policies and procedures for their department. Will perform other duties as directed. Overnight housing accommodations for out-of-town employees. #
