Job Description

Overview At WakeMed, we?re all about putting people first-our patients and our team members. If you?re an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech who enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, this could be a great fit for you. What You?ll Do As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you?ll partner closely with physicians to support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in our angiography lab. You?ll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care while keeping patient comfort front and center. Day-to-day, you?
ll:
Review patient records and prep everything needed for procedures Operate angiographic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images Monitor patients during procedures, keeping safety and comfort top of mind Adjust and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance Document diagnostic data accurately in the medical record Collaborate with physicians and the care team during procedures and diagnostics This role does include a call-back rotation, so flexibility is important. What You Bring We?re looking for someone who is clinically strong, detail-oriented, flexible in their availability and thrives as part of a team.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
Experience:
2+ years of clinical radiology experience (required)
Licensure & Certifications:
ARRT (Radiography)
  • required ARRT (Vascular-Interventional)
