CT Tech Computed Tomography Tech

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Dual Modality DX/CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services in a dynamic freestanding Emergency Department setting. You will be integral in providing both diagnostic X-ray (DX) and CT imaging, supporting emergency patients with a variety of acute needs such as trauma, shortness of breath, falls, injuries, and deep vein thrombosis. Work alongside a collaborative team of technologists while utilizing advanced imaging equipment in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Schedule/Hours:

Shifts are either 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM On-call requirement: 2 nights per month, with negotiable dates Expectation to work approximately 75% of holidays (per department policy)

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in the DX/CT specialty ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and current BLS required Expertise in both diagnostic X-ray and CT modalities Experience with a variety of emergency cases preferred Candidates with prior travel assignments preferred; exceptions depend on experience Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from assignment

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality DX and CT scans for emergency department patients Deliver compassionate, accurate imaging in high-pressure situations Collaborate with 2-3 technologists per shift, ensuring efficient, streamlined care Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for more than one facility if required Document and manage images using EPIC EMR and Phillips ISite/PACS systems
