Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. In this contract opportunity, you will play a crucial role supporting imaging and interventional radiology procedures, collaborating with dedicated healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care throughout each step of the patient journey.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts available Full-time hours Some weekends or on-call rotations may be required
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Current RN license (unencumbered and valid) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years' experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging setting Proven ability to monitor and respond to patient needs during procedures Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and radiology equipment Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assist interventional radiologists during complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns Monitor vital signs and administer medications or sedation as directed Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate patient records and document procedural details promptly Assist with post-procedure care and patient recovery Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses to deliver safe, effective care
