Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract position dedicated to advanced imaging services within a collaborative healthcare environment. This opportunity centers around performing X-ray and MRI diagnostics for a diverse patient population, utilizing state-of-the-art GE equipment and the Cerner EMR system. As part of a skilled team of imaging professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care during a 13-week assignment, with an ASAP start.
Schedule:
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am-10:30 pm; Saturday-Sunday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm Rotating weekends required
Qualifications:
Active MRI registration (candidates without this credential cannot be considered) Clinical expertise in X-ray imaging and radiologic technology Experience with MRI procedures, including both contrast and non-contrast studies Strong preference for those with breast MRI experience Professionalism and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to adapt to a range of clinical scenarios and patient needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic X-ray and MRI examinations as ordered by referring providers Ensure accurate image capture and proper use of GE imaging equipment Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety guidelines Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and image management Maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients and staff Participate in weekend rotations and respond to on-call requirements as needed Wear designated black scrubs in accordance with dress code This position offers a dynamic work setting alongside experienced healthcare professionals, giving you the chance to expand your skills and contribute meaningfully in an essential specialty.
