Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment where your expertise in CT and X-ray imaging will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care. As an Imaging Specialist with a focus on CT technology, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Schedule:
Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 pm - 9:00 am
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT (CT) certification and registration Proficiency in operating CT and X-ray equipment in a clinical setting At least one year of practical experience performing CT scans In-depth knowledge of radiation safety protocols Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures according to physicians' orders Accurately evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value Provide compassionate care while preparing and positioning patients for scans Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold cleanliness protocols Document all procedures and patient interactions in accordance with department policies Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure timely and precise diagnoses Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements within the imaging department This contract opportunity offers the chance to work overnight shifts, allowing for greater schedule flexibility and work-life balance while gaining valuable experience in a progressive healthcare setting.
