Job Description
Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to support imaging services on a 13-week contract assignment. The role centers on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging using advanced MRI technology, particularly with the 1.5T Siemens Aera system utilizing deep resolve. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment and leverage your specialized skills.
Schedule:
36 hours per week Shifts available Monday through Saturday, 7am-7pm 12-hour shifts, 3 days per weekKey Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise operating 1.5T Siemens Aera MRI equipment, including deep resolve functionality Prior experience in an MRI Technologist or Imaging role required ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent licensure Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare teamResponsibilities:
Perform a full range of MRI scans with a focus on both quality and patient safety Prepare and position patients for imaging studies according to protocols and physician instructions Operate the Siemens Aera MRI scanner, ensuring accurate capture of images for physician review Obtain and review patient history to tailor imaging studies and ensure appropriate documentation Follow all safety procedures for patients and staff regarding magnetic fields and contrast usage Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinicians to deliver optimal patient care Assist with equipment quality assurance and log maintenance as needed This assignment provides you with an opportunity to advance your skills and experience in a professional healthcare setting.
