Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career by bringing your expertise as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to a dynamic healthcare setting. As an essential team member, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality diagnostic and interventional imaging services, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes and supporting physicians in specialized procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with additional credentialing in Interventional Radiology. Active state license (if required). Demonstrated experience in IR, with proficiency in vascular and non-vascular procedures. Strong understanding of fluoroscopic imaging, patient safety, and sterile technique. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills. CPR/BLS certification required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, maintaining high standards of safety and comfort. Assist physicians by operating advanced imaging equipment and supporting complex IR procedures. Ensure accurate imaging and effective radiation protection protocols. Maintain thorough, timely records, including digital images and patient documentation. Monitor and respond to patient needs during procedures, providing education and reassurance. Help manage supplies and prepare procedure rooms according to protocols. Adhere to infection control and hospital policies at all times.
