Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled MRI Technician to provide expert imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This is a contract position with a 12-hour day shift, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (36 hours weekly). Please note, the initial two weeks will require onboarding Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Key Qualifications:
ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent in MRI imaging Previous experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital environment Solid understanding of MRI safety protocols and procedures Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff Comfortable supporting patient transfers within the department
Schedule & Additional Details:
12hr day shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
Onboarding:
First two weeks, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM No on-call or callback requirements Possible requirement to work one holiday with the same shift hours No required weekend rotation, as regular shift covers weekends
Role Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI imaging services for diagnostic purposes Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines Provide compassionate patient care and instruct patients throughout procedures Complete accurate documentation and promptly relay findings to the healthcare team If qualified and comfortable, assist with X-ray procedures as needed (not required) Support colleagues by assisting with patient lifting and transfers when workload allows Enjoy the opportunity to contribute your skills in a supportive environment with a consistent schedule and structured onboarding.
