Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Take the next step in your healthcare career supporting patient care as an experienced CT/X-Ray Imaging Technologist. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic clinical setting, providing crucial diagnostic support for patients and care teams.
Schedule:
Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT required) Proficiency in both CT and general X-ray imaging procedures Active and valid applicable state license Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and imaging best practices BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively during overnight and weekend hours
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and safety Maintain and operate imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed Monitor patient conditions and respond to any immediate medical needs during procedures Review and transmit images to radiologists and referring clinicians in a timely manner Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records and procedure logs Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines This role is suited for technologists who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy operating across diverse imaging modalities.
