Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is open for a skilled Imaging - IR Tech professional eager to contribute expertise in an engaging healthcare environment. This contract position offers a structured 12-hour day shift schedule, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm—a perfect fit for those seeking a dedicated weekend role.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certification and licensure as an IR Tech are required. Strong clinical skill set specific to interventional radiology procedures. Previous experience in a fast-paced hospital or clinical environment preferred. Ability to adapt to floating between departments as needed. Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Comfortable with on-call and call back responsibilities. Willingness to work holiday shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures. Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and physician teams to deliver top patient care. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and protocol compliance throughout the imaging process. Perform technical procedures efficiently and in alignment with facility guidelines. Respond promptly to on-call and call-back requests as required for patient care continuity. Adapt to floating within imaging modalities or units on an as-needed basis. Maintain documentation and uphold privacy standards in all patient records. Participate in weekend and holiday rotation to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
