Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver expert care in a dynamic imaging department as a CT Technologist working with a multidisciplinary team serving a broad range of patient populations. Your work will contribute directly to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting supporting emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position Department operates 24/7, with day and weekend shifts available
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience required ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT Current BLS certification Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and performing venous/arterial phase and multi-phase scanning Proficiency in stroke imaging (including perfusion), colorectal studies, and CT-guided invasive procedures Knowledge of TeraRecon is a plus but not required Willingness to learn and adapt—first-time travelers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality CT studies for a diverse patient mix, averaging 160 studies on weekdays and 120 on weekends Collaborate with radiology nursing, anesthesia, and support staff to perform routine and complex imaging, including cardiac CT (days, 7 days/week) Utilize advanced imaging technology (Siemens CT scanners, Medrad injectors) along with EPIC EMR and Philips iSite PACS Maintain accurate patient records and uphold best practices for patient care and safety Participate in orientation, including Epic training and departmental onboarding
