Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a key imaging role where each day brings variety and purpose. Skilled professionals in interventional radiology, particularly IR Techs, will find this contract opportunity engaging and rewarding. Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00am-7:00pm Weekend-focused position Participation in holiday coverage
Qualifications:
Certification and experience as an IR Tech, with demonstrated competency in interventional radiology procedures Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques and sterile field maintenance Flexibility to float across units as clinical needs arise Ability to respond effectively to on-call and call-back demands Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach Commitment to professional standards and continuous learning
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures with precision and compassion Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and post-procedural care Rotate through required weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled Respond promptly to on-call situations, providing expertise when needed across different units
