Job Description

JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to: Radiology Department Manager
DEFINITION OF POSITION
Responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures and patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional High school graduate and graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained. One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and other Window application skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
