The technologist must be proficient in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localizations, and stereotactic mammography as applicable. The mammographic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (M) registered with current certification.
