Job Description

CCHC Imaging Center:
Full-Time Schedule:
Thursday and Friday 7:00AM - 7:30PM; Saturday 7:30 AM-4:00 pm. MRI Tech (Certified)
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES
Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure for contraindication and patient safety Operates special equipment efficiently and accurately and is knowledgeable and proficient with all procedures Ability to identify malfunctions and communicate problems to service engineers Performs trouble shooting techniques to get equipment back on line Cares for delicate equipment and maintains adequate room stock Ability to push/pull and lift more than 10 lbs. Must be able to operate a power injector to deliver contrast Mathematical skills to deliver the correct concentration and amount of contrast Must be able to work independently and with a team
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Monitors image processing systems for accuracy and consistency. Operates MRI equipment efficiently and accurately. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to perform MRI procedures and tasks, with minimal to no supervision. Participates in department in-service education programs. Clearly recognizes contrast reactions and responds appropriately.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
ARRT-R registered with current certification required. Minimum of two years previous MRI experience. CPR certification required. MRI registered
