Job Description

Overview This role is PRN. Some week day shifts are available; however, the employee must be willing to work weekends and assist on nights if needed. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist/CT Tech where your expertise will shine in delivering high-quality medical imaging services! You will play a vital role in providing diagnostic evaluations and supporting patient care in various settings, including urgent care and emergency medicine. If you're passionate about utilizing advanced imaging technology to enhance patient outcomes, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities Conduct x-ray imaging and CT exam procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol. Prepare patients for radiologic/CT procedures and ensures their comfort and safety during exams. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines. Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures. Requirements Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R and RT-CT certifications. Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program. High School diploma Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT Tech of more than 10 years is preferred. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Possess excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of EHR Systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
