This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients accurately to capture the required images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Review images for clarity and proper positioning and make adjustments as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients and staff.
- Document patient information and imaging details accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Shift:
Sat, Sun, Mon 8:00 AM- 8:30 PM Requirements Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
