Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Explore the heart of the Great Plains with a travel assignment in Columbus, Nebraska—a community known for its friendly atmosphere, inviting parks, and close proximity to outdoor adventures along the Platte River. Here, you'll broaden your clinical expertise as a CT Technologist, gaining exposure to diverse radiology protocols, various equipment, and dynamic departmental workflows in a busy hospital setting—enhancing your professional growth and expanding your resume. This 13-week contract offers an ideal opportunity to work day shifts and collaborate with experienced imaging professionals, including a supportive radiology team. With up-to-date technology (including Siemens and Carestream) and the latest in PACS systems, you'll be at the forefront of imaging care. When you're off the clock, relish the chance to discover the local community, sample regional cuisine, or simply enjoy peaceful moments in the Nebraska outdoors.
Schedule Options:
5x8 hour shifts (Monday-Friday), with varied times (e.g., 7:30a-5/6p, 8:30a-5p)
Alternative:
4x9 or 4x10 hour shifts, including possible Sunday-Wednesday coverage (evening/night hours) On-call required at least one time per week and one weekend per month; 30-minute response time
Qualifications:
Active ARRT (R) and (CT) certifications Current BLS certification Minimum 1-year experience performing CT scans and radiology studies Proficiency starting IVs for outpatients Driver's license at submission (for compliance with location radius requirements) Compliance with hospital dress code: Steel gray scrubs (not provided), natural fingernails only
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT and general radiography studies (including angio CT, ortho, chest, spines, skulls) Operate Siemens CT and Carestream portable equipment Assist occasionally in non-invasive procedures (such as EKGs, Zio Monitors) Help with patient scheduling and registration as needed Use EPIC and PACS software for electronic medical recordkeeping and image storage
