Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role where your skills in imaging and patient care make a meaningful difference. This contract opportunity focuses on performing advanced CT and CT/PET scans in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, using modern imaging technologies to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and PET/CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal image quality Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns Accurately document and maintain patient records and imaging data in accordance with facility protocols Collaborate with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to review images and provide relevant patient information Ensure all imaging procedures adhere to quality, safety, and infection control guidelines Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report any malfunctions promptly
Qualifications and Experience:
Active certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT required) Experience operating PET/CT scanners Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with patients and staff Detail-oriented with ability to document clearly and accurately Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification This contract opportunity offers the chance to expand your imaging expertise and contribute to high-quality patient care using leading technology.
