Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting advanced patient care as an Imaging Professional with expertise in CT and PET/CT technology. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced in producing high-quality diagnostic images and delivering compassionate support to patients undergoing imaging procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT modality specialty; PET/CT experience preferred Valid and current state licensure as required Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT and PET/CT imaging within a healthcare setting Proficient with operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment and performing quality control tasks Excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to guide and reassure patients through procedures Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at maintaining accurate patient records
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring optimal image quality with minimal discomfort to patients Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, practicing radiation safety standards diligently Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive diagnostic care Manage equipment calibration, perform routine maintenance checks, and adhere to protocols for image storage and documentation Maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations, patient confidentiality, and infection control policies Enjoy the opportunity to apply your imaging expertise in a dynamic medical environment where your skills make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
