Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity awaits skilled imaging professionals with CT and CT/PET expertise. This contract position is ideal for someone passionate about diagnostic imaging and providing a high standard of patient care. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and/or CT/PET technology Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration or equivalent Previous experience as a CT and CT/PET Technologist in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures Excellent communication and patient care abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team CPR certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and CT/PET equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate image interpretation Maintain up-to-date patient records and adhere to all privacy laws Troubleshoot imaging equipment and report maintenance needs as they arise Follow all regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols Educate patients and families regarding procedures to promote a positive healthcare experience
