Assists the mammography technologist by performing a variety of tasks; such as processing paperwork, preparing processed images for radiologist interpretation and proper storing of the same for safekeeping. Enters computer data, orders, revises and cancels exams. Arranges for films needed to be sent to the Breast Center and then their return. Keeps stock of clerical supplies and helps to maintain neat examination rooms and changing areas. Assists with patients' needs before, during and after the procedure and helps maintain patient flow between the department waiting area and the technologists.
