Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, supporting high-acuity imaging and interventional procedures in a dynamic hospital-based environment. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons, contributing to complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases using cutting-edge imaging technology.

Schedule:

3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts per week On-call rotation: every 4th weekend and 1 day each week 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years' experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure NJ radiographic license (required) Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association-approved provider Completion of an accredited radiographic program, associate degree, or high school diploma/GED Strong communication, critical thinking, and closed-loop communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases Scrub side-by-side with specialty proceduralists and circulate complex products during procedures Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopy units and power injectors for contrast media Set up procedural trays, maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention measures Document thoroughly in electronic medical records and transmit images to PACS/Sectra systems Manage groin post-intervention and contribute to a fast-paced, quality-driven environment Why apply?
