Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled X-Ray Technologist with radiology experience. This vital role supports a high-volume hospital environment and plays a key part in delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services. The assignment is part time, beginning August 17, 2026, and concluding November 14, 2026.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Every other weekend required 37.5 hours per week 7.5 hours per day
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program Valid NJ State RT License ARRT certified Current BLS certification At least 18 months of recent experience in the field 1-3 years' proven experience as an X-Ray Technician Proficiency with GE imaging equipment Confident performing in the operating room Experience in high-capacity hospital settings (900 beds or more) and demonstrated ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality imaging and treatment procedures as outlined by state, federal, and professional standards Ensure the safety, comfort, and care of patients prior to, during, and after imaging procedures Skillfully maintain and operate a range of imaging equipment, including troubleshooting and routine care Monitor and adapt procedures as needed, and coordinate daily imaging tasks Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural records Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, possessing solid communication and analytical skills Fulfill other duties as assigned This role offers the chance to contribute to a dedicated team in a progressive clinical environment, putting your expertise and problem-solving skills to use in support of patient care.
