Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This position will focus on performing high-quality Sinus CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and operating CT equipment effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging, particularly in the sinus region, and a commitment to adhering to all safety protocols. This position will also include back office duties assigned by the Clinic Lead and/or Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities:
  • Sinus CT Imaging:
    Perform high quality Sinus CT scans according to standard procedures and physician orders. Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal imaging of the sinus area.
  • Patient Safety:
    Prioritize patient safety and comfort during the imaging process. Adhere to radiation safety standards, including the use of appropriate shielding, dose reduction techniques and proper patient preparation.
  • Equipment Operation:
    Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting. Conduct routine quality assurance checks and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Patient Care:
    Educate patients on the procedure and what to expect. Provide a compassionate and supportive environment for patients undergoing Sinus CT scans, especially those who may feel anxious or uncomfortable.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety guidelines, including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Ensure that all equipment is in safe and working condition and that procedures are in line with regulatory standards.
Clinic Duties:
In the back office, responsibilities involve preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, maintaining medical records and supporting healthcare providers during procedures. Additional tasks may be assigned by clinic leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Education
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Completion of a CT specific training or certification program (required). Licensing/Certifications
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT) requires.
  • New Jersey CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) is required. Experience
  • Previous experience in CT imaging is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of sinus anatomy and specific protocols for imaging sinuses is preferred. Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging techniques and patient positioning.
  • Proficiency in using CT imaging software and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Team player, willingness to assist where needed in the clinic. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move patients as required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform technical tasks under pressure.
  • Adequate vision and motor skills for operations of imaging equipment.
Pay:
$25.00
  • $30.
