afcurgentcare.com/livingston/. Position Description X-ray technicians are primarily responsible for performing all diagnostic x-rays and assisting with the provision of patient medical care. Our x-ray techs report to the Center Administrator for non-clinical matters, the Medical Director for clinical matters as well as the physician on-duty.Responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic x-rays;
- Performing point of care diagnostic tests;
- Assisting physicians with patient care, as requested;
- Assisting Medical Assistants with the triaging of new patients;
- Directing patients to examination rooms and ensuring rooms are setup;
- Ensuring that x-ray room and examination rooms are clean;
- Re-stocking medical supplies; and
- Front-office duties including answering phones and registering patients. Qualifications
- At least two (2) years' experience as a licensed X-Ray Technologist
- Fundamental understanding of digital x-ray services;
- Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA;
- Compassionate communicator with excellent patient interaction skills;
- Highly professional appearance; and
- Team-player able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
