The incumbent Radiology Supervisor serves as the liaison between the facility and referring sources, such as physicians' offices, organizations and managed care representatives for all scheduling, pre- authorization and communicating needs. Acts as the communication link to assist in resolution of issues and perceived problems that may affect referring Physicians and customers. Provides input to management and assists with the development of long and short-term marketing goals and objectives. Will be responsible for accurately reporting volume statistics and office visit information. Acts as the department safety liaison to the PI and safety committees and helps with network initiatives pertaining imaging services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Completion of a formal school of Radiologic technology. Minimum of 3 years experience as a staff technologist. Must be able to perform CPR. Maintains CEU Credits.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Associates Degree. CT technologist experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. State licensure if applicable.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.

Working Conditions:
