The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. MRI Aide Our MRI Aides work collaboratively to promote optimal patient safety and streamline daily operations across our diagnostic imaging suites. By maintaining rigorous Level 2 MRI safety standards, executing precise pre-screening protocols, and facilitating smooth patient flow, our aides ensure our patients and staff remain secure in a highly magnetic environment. A Typical Day:
Screening:
Conducting thorough safety screenings and scanning individuals with a metal detector before entry into Zones 3 and 4 of the MRI suite.
Patient Flow:
Optimizing patient flow between exams by moving patients, placing them on stretchers and exam tables, and coordinating transport by bed, stretcher, or wheelchair using strictly MRI-compatible equipment.
Communication:
Advising patients of wait times and instructions, making phone calls, sending faxes, and coordinating care with anesthesia, critical care nurses, and/or pacemaker vendors.
Clearance Support:
Assisting with tasks and retrieving information related to obtaining clearance for patients with MRI-conditional medical implants.
Administrative Duties:
Scanning forms and paperwork into Epic and following general operational instructions given by technologists.
Department Upkeep:
Retrieving and stocking departmental supplies while replenishing linens and gowns for continuous use. This role might be for you if:

To be considered:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Fully trained and familiar with all aspects of MRI safety, achieving a Level 2 designation (or ability to become trained/certified upon hire). Demonstrated ability to perform patient care, handle safe transport equipment, and manage administrative workflows within electronic medical records like Epic.
