Job Description

Role Description:
This Xray Technician role is an on-site position located in Red Bank, NJ. The Xray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic imaging exams as ordered by providers, following established protocols and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for imaging procedures, positioning patients and equipment, operating radiology machinery, and ensuring image quality for accurate interpretation. The role also involves maintaining imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety guidelines, updating patient records in the practice's systems, and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow. The Xray Technician provides clear instructions and compassionate support to patients while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct at all times. Qualifications Formal training in radiologic technology and competency in performing standard orthopedic X-ray exams. Knowledge of radiation safety practices, proper patient positioning, and operation of digital imaging equipment. Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple exams efficiently. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to support a positive patient experience. Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Current state licensure or certification as an Xray Technician or Radiologic Technologist, as required by NJ regulations. Basic computer literacy and comfort working with electronic health records or imaging systems. Previous experience in an orthopedic or outpatient clinical setting is preferred but not required. Must possess NJ State license and ARRT certification
