Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate mobile C-Arm imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Experience with C-Arms in spine and pain cases is a must. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing diagnostic imaging services across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities Operate a variety of radiologic imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy. Assist the OR staff with patient positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure. Assist with specialized imaging techniques such as interventional radiology and interventional radiography procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure diagnostic evaluations are performed efficiently and effectively. Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Requirements Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine technology. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols consistently. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required; additional certifications. Knowledge of medical imaging modalities including ultrasound (sonography), fluoroscopy, interventional radiology procedures, and physiology knowledge for accurate diagnostics.
