ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Works for Multiple physicians Must be able to work and travel to Artesia and Carlsbad Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic imaging examinations according to department protocols. Analyze imaging, synthesize imaging information and medical history, and document proper information for physician. Assume responsibility for safety, mental and physical comfort of patient while in the care of the technologist. Assist with daily operations of the department Maintain diagnostic equipment and work area, and maintains adequate supplies. Use independent judgment during patient exam to accurately differentiate normal and pathologic findings. Order and stock supplies for AGH material department. Purge and maintain disposal log for plain film exams. Assist Clinical assistants as time allows between exams.

Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology. Work Experience
  • N/A Training
  • N/A License/Certification
  • ARRT and State of New Mexico certifications; current compliance with CME requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate.
