Job Description

Job-8937 Seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technician to Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepare equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Applicants should have a current NM Radiologic Technologist license and possess an associate degree in a related field.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire.
License:
ARRT certified/registered in radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) More about
Los Alamos Medical Center Schedule:
this is a full-time, night shift role that offers some schedule flexibility and will work either 5x8s or 4x10s. This role could work Monday through Thursday from 11 pm to 9 am or Monday through Friday from 12 am to 8 am or 11 pm to 7 am. A 47-bed acute care hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the communities of northern New Mexico for over 70 years.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
