N Pay Rate:

$1741.00 - $1794.00 Rad Tech needed asap for 13 weeks Performs radiographic procedures as requested by physicians and Radiologist. Has a good understanding of advance anatomy. Provides excellent care for patients and an understanding that they may be in pain; follows AIDET guidelines

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic\Technology Program required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES

ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association required within a month of hire date.

SKILLS:

Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.

ENVIRONMENT

Bloodborne pathogen C Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged, extensive or considerate standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
