Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal imaging role in a fast-paced, contract position where your clinical expertise in Radiologic Technology will make a meaningful impact. This opportunity requires proficiency as both a Radiology and X-ray Technologist, serving a diverse patient population in a high-acuity environment.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts: 15:00-23:30 Every third weekend rotation (same hours) Weekend call coverage required
Qualifications:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent credentials Demonstrated proficiency conducting procedures in the operating room Experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital setting is essential Ability to perform both portable and fluoroscopic exams Strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams Deep understanding of radiation safety and adherence to ALARA principles Familiarity with hospital information and radiology systems
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently complete routine and specialized imaging procedures, including operating room cases, as requested by clinical staff Provide all required documentation, ensuring clear and thorough record-keeping on each requisition Maintain open, professional communication with referring physicians, radiologists, staff, and patients to promote exceptional care Uphold hospital policies and best clinical practices, including standards for safety, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance Deliver effective patient education to support understanding and comfort throughout procedures Safeguard patient and staff wellbeing through strict adherence to radiation and general safety protocols Assume additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth departmental operations Seize the chance to contribute your expertise in a role that values skill, collaboration, and quality patient outcomes.
