Job Description

CT Technologist Join Our Team as a CT Technologist and Make a Difference in Cancer Care East Syracuse, NY $31-$44/hr Are you a dedicated imaging professional eager to contribute to a top-tier cancer treatment facility? Our client, recognized as one of Central New York's Best Places to Work, is seeking a committed CT Technologist to bring expertise and compassion to their patients across East Syracuse, Syracuse, and Auburn. This full-time role at their Brittonfield and Camillus locations offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a compassionate, patient-centered team providing state-of-the-art cancer care. As a vital member of the team, you will prepare and execute precise CT scans, assist with contrast procedures, review patient histories, and collaborate closely with radiologists and oncologists to ensure optimal imaging results. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will directly impact patient outcomes and treatment planning, making this position both challenging and highly rewarding.
Required Skills:
Valid CT License from NYS Proficiency in preparing patients for CT procedures, including contrast administration Experience operating Siemens Definition AS Open scanner or similar equipment Ability to review patient histories, obtain consent, and perform post-processing of images Knowledge of QA procedures and compliance with ACR and NYS regulations Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience working in a oncology-focused imaging environment Familiarity with radiation therapy planning and collaborations with radiation oncologists Additional certification or continuing education in advanced imaging techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certified Radiologic Technologist with relevant CT experience Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting, ideally within oncology or diagnostic imaging
Other Requirements:
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with ARRT and
NYSDOH CE
requirements Ability to work at least full-time during standard weekday hours, with flexibility for occasional additional duties
