Job Description

CNY Family Care, LLP, a busy primary care practice in East Syracuse, NY, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for patients of all ages. Working closely with physicians and clinical staff, you will verify orders, position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and follow strict radiation safety and infection-control standards. You will document studies in PACS and the EHR, support timely diagnosis, and contribute to coordinated, patient-centered care in a collaborative, community-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams according to provider orders and established protocols Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety Position patients and operate radiographic equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards Maintain and document accurate imaging records within PACS and the EHR system Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and coordinated care Monitor equipment performance, report issues, and assist with routine quality control checks Follow infection control, safety, and privacy policies at all times Support a patient-centered, team-based environment and participate in ongoing training Required Skills Radiologic imaging (X-ray) Patient positioning Radiation safety and protection Use of
