We are a not‐for‐profit organization, operated for the public benefit. Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, We employ more than 5,000 people. As a teaching hospital, UHS trains over 70 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs. Work Environment All work is performed in the department which consists of the Interventional Angio Suite as well as several CT and x‐ray rooms. These rooms are air conditioned as well as heated, areas are occasionally subject to fumes. Work may also be done in operating rooms or emergency department. Delivery of services is through the use of radiation to produce images for physician diagnosis readings, and intervention on neuro and non‐neuro procedures.
