Weekend Availability Required Pay Range:

We are currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing imaging team. This role is ideal for professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care. Position Summary As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports physicians in evaluating and treating orthopedic conditions. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI scans with precision to produce high-quality diagnostic images, Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety compliance Prepare and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing questions and easing concerns In the absence of the supervisor or senior technologist, may be designated as acting supervisor Maintain a safe and sterile environment by following established safety and aseptic protocols Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff regarding imaging needs and workflow Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions promptly Maintain accurate and complete patient records in the medical records system Follow all MRI safety standards and regulatory requirements Qualifications Graduate from diagnostic Radiology Technology Program NYS DOH license in Diagnostic Radiology Technology ARRT or ARMRIT Preferred MRI experience (MSK studies), IV Contrast Injection certification not required Schedule & Work Requirements Part-Time/Per Diem Available Alternating weekends Rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs in Syosset and Massapequa Location All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
