Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Advance your imaging career by providing critical diagnostic services as a skilled professional specializing in CT and CT/PET technology. This contract opportunity requires expertise in advanced imaging techniques to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in a dynamic clinical setting. Your work will play a vital role in patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid credentials and current registration as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist Demonstrated experience in performing advanced CT and PET/CT scans Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols Proficiency with modern imaging equipment and associated healthcare technologies Ability to assess patient needs, provide clear instructions, and ensure a comfortable environment Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Adherence to HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal imaging results Review images for quality and completeness while recognizing and alerting to variances Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation as required Monitor equipment functionality and arrange for maintenance or troubleshooting as needed Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures This contract position offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills in an advanced clinical environment, contributing directly to patient well-being and medical decision-making.
